Assalamu Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, In this article I will be writing an interesting fact about Dajjal ( Masseh ).
Who is Considered an Evil Figure in Islam? He will appear in this Dunya Before the Day of Qiyama. Prophet Muhammed Said, Without the appearance of Dajjal on this Dunya, World will not come to an end or the Day of Qiyama will not Come.
Many of Our Muslim Brothers and Sisters In Islam hold the belief that the Evil Messiah (Masihah al-Dajjal), who will appear near the end of time as a great trial, is currently imprisoned on an unknown Mysterious island somewhere in this Dunya. We can understand this Clearly from the Hadees which was reported by the companion Of Prophet Muhammed ( Sal ) Sahaba Tamim Uth Dari (Rali) and it was confirmed by the Prophet Muhammed Peace be upon him. Until Today Even though all the oceans and islands are Investigated using High Tech Tools and Gadgets, no one has been able to find the island or the False Messiah. As Allah Azzawajal has Said False Messiah will come out only if He orders Him. We cannot tell when is that day. May Allah Protect us From that hardship.
We shall Understand What was the nature of Tamim Uth Dari's ( Rali ) experience with the False Messiah Dajjal? Was it a physical experience or a spiritual vision?
Meaning: We departed in a hurry until we were admitted into the Abbey ( Monastery ) and found within it a huge man with a Mysterious Look. We had never seen any creation Like him more firmly imprisoned. His hands were tied to his neck tightly and there were iron Manacles between his two legs to his ankles. We said: Woe to you! What are you? He said: I will soon tell you about myself, but first tell me about you. We said: We are Arabs who have traveled in a seafaring vessel but it happened to be that the sea seized us and the waves shook us for a month, then we sought shore on this island of yours…
The imprisoned man said: Indeed, I will tell you about myself Now. I am the Messiah Dajjal. I will soon be permitted to come out and thus I will go out and walk across the land. I will not leave any town or a single area but I will occupy it for forty nights in this world, except for Mecca and Medina ( Holy Sacred Places in Islam ). They are both forbidden to me. Every time I want to enter one of them, I will be confronted by an angel with a sword in his hand to obstruct me from them. Indeed, around every vulnerability among them is an angel to guard them. Source: Sahih Muslim 2942 ( This Hadess is Sahih - Authentic ) Based on this report, many Muslims hold that the False Messiah is imprisoned on an island right now, but that Allah has Covered its location by supernatural means ( Allah Azzawajal only knew those secrets). Hence, no one on this Earth, let it be Scientists from America or China can ever find it until the Dajjal is finally released and spread Fitnah on this Dunya. May Allah Azzawajal Protect us from the Evil of False Messiah.
However, this Hadith should conform with other equally authentic Hadiths that the Dajjal possibly appeared to the companions of Prophet Muhammed in the form of the False Prophet.
Ibn al-Sayyad Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir reported: I saw Jabir ibn Abdullah ( Rali ) , that Ibn al-Sayyad was the False Messiah (al-Dajjal). Jabir said:
I heard Umar ( Rali) swear an oath that in the presence of the Prophet Muhammed, peace and blessings be upon him, and he did not reject it.
Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 6922, This is an authenticated Hadees.
When Umar ( Rali ) saw that Ibn al-Sayyad falsely claimed that he is a Prophet, He immediately asked the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammed ( Sal ) for permission to kill Ibn al-Sayyad. The Prophet Muhammed ( Sal ) refused, though, because if he truly were the False Messiah, he could not be killed until everything that was foretold by ( sal ) would come to pass. Abdullah ibn Umar ( Rali ) reported: The Prophet ( Sal ), peace be upon him, said to Ibn al-Sayyad:
Meaning: May your hands be dusted! Do you testify that I am the messenger of Allah? Ibn al-Sayyad said, “No, rather you testify that I am the messenger of Allah!” Umar ibn al-Khattab said, “O Messenger of Allah, allow me to kill him!” The Prophet Muhammed said:
Meaning: Leave him, for if he truly is him you will have no power to do so. If it is not the False Messiah, then there is no good for you in killing him.
Source: Sahih Al Bukhari 6244 ( Authentic Hadees)
So After that, The Prophet Muhammed ( Sal ) did not allow Umar ( Rali ) to harm Ibn - Sayyad because he was either the False Messiah ( Dajjal ) and thus could not be harmed until the signs of the Hour had come to pass, or he was simply an ordinary disbeliever in which case there was “no good” in killing him.
Nevertheless, some of the senior companions of Sahaba swore an oath to Allah that Ibn al-Sayyad was the False Messiah al-Dajjal. So we have to think, can the False Dajjal appear as both Ibn al-Sayyad and the imprisoned man on the island?
Al-Qari al-Harawi ( Islamic Writer ) reconciles these two stories by proposing that the outward appearance
Meaning: I say (the story of Ibn al-Sayyad) does not deny the story of Tamim al-Dari ( Rali ), as it could be that the Dajjal has different bodies. Thus his outward appearance in the world ( Dunya ) of senses and perception operate according to different circumstances. His essence is in the world of apparitions, restricted by chains and shackles. Perhaps what stops him from appearing during trial is the presence of prophetic chains and shackles.

And Al-Qari al-Harawi further elaborates on the world of Mysterious:
Meaning: The scholars said that between the physical world and the spiritual world is another world called the world of apparitions. It is a luminous world resembling the physical. Sleep is a cause for the enlightened soul to trek into the world of apparitions and to see visions of what is therein of images without physical form.

The imprisoned Mysterious Beast that Tamim al-Dari (Rali) saw on the unknown island was indeed the False Messiah ( Dajjal ), but it can be interpreted as an apparition of his essence in the Unseen that was specific to their circumstances. For this reason, no one can find the unknown island today because what Tamim Uth Dari ( Rali )saw was a temporary vision representing reality in the Unseen non-physical world.
According to this the island on which Tamim (Rali) saw the False Messiah Dajjal is unknown to all of us. And will not be definitively discovered, either because it was a spiritual vision specific to Tamim ( Rali )and his companions ( Sahabas ) , or some other miraculous means prevented it from being found. Either way, the story of the imprisoned False Messiah Dajjal is a concrete image for us to represent the Unseen reality that his trial will come to pass in the future Insha Allah, And May Allah will protect us from the torture of the Dajjal. we should focus on making the most of our time on earth by doing good deeds and strengthening our faith.
Allah Knows the Best, and he is the owner of everything in this world and everywhere in this universe
